Solihull Borough consists of 17 Wards, each having three Councillors. The Councillors represent local people's views on the Council, set Council policies and follow up problems that residents' may have with Council services.
The Wards are split between the Meriden and the Solihull Parliamentary Constituencies as follows:

Plus Bromford and Hodge Hill, Garretts Green, Glebe Farm and Tile Cross, Heartlands, Shard End and Ward End which are all within the area of the Birmingham City Council.
